my bedroom

I love interior decor. Like seriously, love.

So when it comes to my room, I really enjoy moving it around and changes things up every now and again. Yesterday, I cleared it all out and swapped things around and wanted to share with you guys my favourite parts of my bedroom!

First of all is this little corner here. This is the only wall in my room that is wallpapered (paper from B&M), the rest are painted white and I think it makes it look a lot more open and bright but still allows me to paste some nice big visuals up onto my wall without being too overpowering. In this photo you can just about see my hanging wire heart photo frame where I hang some of my favourite Polaroid pictures. I love this as it looks so pretty and reminds me of all the good times I've had!

Under that is my dressing table, this is where the magic happens! This is actually a coffee table from Dunhelm Mill but I loved it so much and thought it would serve well as a dressing table as it has four large wicker baskets and two large drawers to hold all my things. The top middle is where I keep for random everyday things such as tablets, sunglass and my Polaroid camera and then the bottom middle is where all my skin care is stored. The top left basket holds all my hair things such as products and tools, the bottom left holds my hand and foot scrubs/creams as well as some other random body bits that I alternate from my bathroom. The top right basket houses all of my make-up and cosmetics and then the bottom right holds my make-up brushes and any large palettes. On the top of my dressing table are a few candles and then some glassware and more baskets holding objects I reach for daily including jewellery, hair grips, bobbles and cotton pads.

Next up is this cute feature wall that I am continuously working on! I add to this all the time so it never stays the same for long! Each of the hanging objects are from a different shop but I made the bunting myself using scrap fabric, buttons and ribbon. It was super fun to make!

I hope you enjoyed this mini-tour and maybe found some inspiration for your own bedrooms!

l'occitane rose tenderness hand cream

Sound the alarm, I may have found a new favourite hand cream!

The first thing I love about this product is the packaging, I love metallic tubes like this for some reason. They feel very medicinal and delicate which I think makes it seem quite luxurious.

The second thing I love? The smell. L'occitane describe it as "a fresh, velvety rose fragrance" which I totally agree with. If you're not a fan of floral scents, then you most likely will not like this. However, there are other smells if you want to try them out! It has the uplifting and deliciously feminine scent of rose petals, but it isn't too overpowering or fake.

Thirdly, this delightful hand cream is highly concentrated with 20% Shea butter which helps to protect, nourish and soften the skin. I have dry skin anyway, but my hands get terribly dry and painful in the colder months so a hand cream is a must and this one helps to relieve all of the discomfort and give my hands a real moisture boost so I can carry on my day! I've also found that this doesn't just provide temporary relief, I've noticed that it is helping to keep my hands flake-free for longer in between applications so I am very happy with the results!

Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone as I just love it. You can find on the website or in store, check out some of the gifts too as this is usually sold in those too!

Have you tried anything from L'occitane? xox

moo free business cards

For my end of year show at college, we were asked to design some business cards for ourselves so that any potential employers could quickly grab one if they liked the look of our work.

You can order a set of 10 free business cards from moo.com. I have ordered printed products a few times from moo and personally, I think this is a great way to test out any potential designs plus you can also check out the quality and services that moo has to offer without spending a penny.

This is one side of my design. I went for a retro/vintage looking theme with a ribbon and dainty colours. However, I also wanted to add abit of personality & humour to this "miniture CV" and so I used the phrase...

"Hello, my name is Olivia & this is my business card..."

This is what the back looks like:

I'm just guna sit here and wait for the offers to start rolling in ;)
