i think we just bought a puppy...

Last Friday, I went to see some Golden Lab pups in the next village with my dad, brother and boyfriend. My dad has wanted a dog ever since our old one passed away four years ago, but my mum enjoyed the freedom of being able to go out whenever she wanted. I also wanted a new dog, but felt guilty at the though of replacing my beloved childhood pet. However, my dad convinced me to at least consider another dog the other week and so we arranged to meet the owners of these new born puppies and went on through to visit them.

It was absolute love at first sight. No joke.

There were 7 three-week-old pups all snuggling each other in their little pen. I spotted this adorable one that was so much paler than the other goldeny coloured ones. We picked a few up and had a good look at them, and although they were all super duper cute, I just could not stop looking at this little chap.

I picked him up and held him on my chest and he burried his head into my scarf and started nibbling on my chin and licking my face. After a few more "oooh"s and "awwwhh"s we decided to put a deposit down on the three week old male pictured above. I just couldn't resist!

So now we just have to wait a few more weeks until he can come to his new home! I hope he will love me as much as I love him, and I hope my old dog knows that I will never try to replace her!

(p.s we're calling him Wilson!!!!)
