I looooooove face masks! And with so many brands offering impossible promises in sleek packaging it can be hard to know which to choose. Here, I shall talk about my two favorite brands of face masks.
1. Origins Drink Up Intensive £20 - Believe the hype. This really is as good as people say. Thick and creamy combined with the most delicious fruity scent, you smother a thick layer of this over cleansed skin at night, go to bed, and wake up with fresh, plump and super moisturized skin. This has certainly helped clear up my dry patches and improved the overall texture of my skin. If you have dry skin like me and only ever buy one face mask, buy this one.
2. The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask £10 - Packed with spot fighting ingredients such as menthol and tea tree oil, the green cream feels cooling on the skin. You leave for 10-15 minutes before wiping away and my skin feel so fresh and clean afterwards. I wouldn't neccesrily say this has helped fight my spots, but it certinly does help calm and redness and also helps soothe those pesky painful blemishes.
3. The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask £10 - The first warming mask I've tried, and I must say I really like the feeling it gives my skin! You apply it to your hands and massage it into a wet face, leave for 5 mins and wash away. The heat generated opens up your pores for a deep clean, and my skin feels purified after I use this. It contains uncoloured kaolin clay combined with essential oils.
4. The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask £10 - My favourite Body Shop mask, this thick grey clay draws out impurities to leave skin feeling cleansed and fresh. It also claims to help control oil which I have to agree with. It feels very luxurious on my skin and my face feels so clean after using this.
5. Origins Clear Improvement £20 - A super thick charcoal based mask opens up pores to remove all the clogged up toxins. I love love love this mask, it has a slight tingling sensations which makes me feel as though it really is sucking up all the nastiness out of my face. I like to use this once a week and it can cause a little sensitivity if I use it too much, but I'd expect that of my sensitive skin. Overall, a great mask.
Do you love the Origins/Body Shop face masks? Which are your favourites? x
