my perfect sunday

Ahh, I love a nice peaceful Sunday to finish off the week! 

Today I visited Wentworth Garden Centre again (I just can't get enough of that place!) with my Mum, Nannan and cousin. We sipped pots of English breakfast tea and munched on fresh baked scones cut in half and sandwiched with lashings of thick cream and sweet strawberry jam! 

We then took a walk around the main shop! They were just doing their switchover from Christmas to the new January stock, so everything in the festive section was 50% off. Even though Christmas is over now, we picked up some adorable tree decorations that we'll save until next time. I also found three clear glass boxes with metal clasps that I thought would be perfect for on top of my dressing table! I'll upload a photograph when I get them all set up. We also took a look at some craft stalls and candle shops which were lovely.

I then came home and had a few hours just relaxing a little. I watched the newest Star Trek on the movie channel and scoffed some leftover choccies. The festive period is so tiring and I need as much rest as I can get for the coming year! I'm planning on travelling more this year, that's actually one of my goals for 2014! I think I'm going to share some of my resolutions and goals for this year, as well as my bucket list I created in-between Christmas and New Year.
